Miami, FL. – Por motivo de la celebración del “Día de los Padres”, el cantautor Víctor Manuelle decide hacer una nueva versión del ya conocido tema “Algo Le Pasa A Mi Héroe” el cual hiciera en honor a su fallecido padre por causa del Alzheimer, condición con la que aún sigue comprometido.
La nueva versión cuenta con la colaboración de reconocidos artistas tales como Kany García, Tommy Torres, Gilberto Santa Rosa, Pedro Capó y Noel Schajris, quienes respondieron al llamado del isabelino para participar en este hermoso regalo a todos los padres que son los héroes de sus hijos. “Fue algo bien orgánico. Para mí el mes de junio siempre va a tener mucha importancia porque era el cumpleaños de mi papá el 1 de junio y también se celebra el ‘Día de los Padres’. Fue una idea que me surgió después del cumpleaños de Papi. Lo increíble fue lograr reunir a cinco artistas de esa talla en tan poco tiempo y que estuvieran accesibles a grabar su verso, más la parte visual, todo desde su casa con toda esta nueva modalidad de la pandemia en la cual estamos distanciados. Aún así se transmite el sentimiento en la interpretación como si hubiésemos grabado juntos.”, comenta el salsero, quien actualmente tiene posicionado el sencillo “Boogaloo Supreme” junto a Wisin en el “Top 10 Tropical” de la Revista Billboard por las pasadas 13 semanas.
El vídeo musical de “Algo Le Pasa A Mi Héroe 2020” estuvo dirigido por Giovanni González en colaboración con Marco Gavela, donde se logra la interacción de Víctor Manuelle con los artistas a través de unos televisores antiguos que reflejan la imagen de cada uno según van interpretando su verso. Este vídeo se estreno ayer 18 de junio y ya esta disponible en todas las plataformas digitales.
Mientras tanto, Víctor Manuelle está celebrando una nueva hazaña para su más reciente álbum 25/7, que recientemente obtuvo Disco de Oro por parte de la RIAA gracias a sus altas ventas en Estados Unidos y Puerto Rico.

VÍCTOR MANUELLE Announces A Father’s Day Gift “ALGO LE PASA A MI HÉROE 2020”
Miami, FL. – In commemoration of Father’s Day, the singer and songwriter Víctor Manuelle today releases a new version of his 2015 gem “Algo Le Pasa A Mi Héroe,” dedicated to his father, who battled Alzheimer’s and passed away in 2018. Víctor Manuelle is one of the world’s most tireless advocates for Alzheimer’s awareness and treatment.
The Isabela, Puerto Rico, native is joined on this new version by his fellow Puerto Rican artists Kany García, Tommy Torres, Gilberto Santa Rosa and Pedro Capó, as well as the Argentine singer-songwriter Noel Schajris.
Víctor explains how this all-star project came together: “It was quite organic. June is a very important month for me because of Father’s Day and my dad’s birthday, June 1. After his birthday, I got the idea. I couldn’t believe that I was able to get five legends together so quickly to not only record the audio, but also the video, from their homes while we maintain social distancing. The physical separation doesn’t diminish the feeling that comes through; it’s as if we had recorded it together in the same studio.”
Directed by Giovanni González in conjunction with Marco Gavela, the music video of “Algo Le Pasa a Mi Héroe 2020” uses images of vintage TV sets to portray Víctor’s interactions with his fellow artists. This video premiered yesterday and both single and video are available now from all digital-music outlets.
Víctor’s previous single “Boogaloo Supreme,” featuring the acclaimed urban artist Wisin, is holding strong in its 13th straight week in the Top 10 of Billboard’s “Tropical Airplay” chart.
Meanwhile, Víctor Manuelle is celebrating a new achievement for his most recent album 25/7, which was recently certified Gold by the Recording Industry Association of America.
