Miami, Florida – Catorce cantantes y músicos, todos alumnos o egresados de la prestigiosa Berklee College of Music en Boston, unen sus talentos en el nuevo video “Si Estuvieras Aquí”, disponible hoy a través de Sony Music Latin.
“Si Estuvieras Aquí”, de la autoría de Bebo San Juan (alter ego de Emilio Aragón), y el cantautor Victor Martin, quien también fue estudiante de composición en Berklee.
Fusionando arreglos acústicos con matices tropicales y de jazz, esta canción nos deleita con su frescura y su letra cargada de nostalgia y añoranza: “Si estuvieras aquí, no te pediría, ni un minuto de tu tiempo para mí. Encontrarte en un abrazo, cuando busco tu perdón, ni que me eches una mano, si me duele el corazón”.
Javier Limón, el productor 10 veces ganador del GRAMMY® y del Latin GRAMMY®, y director del Instituto Musical Mediterráneo de Berklee, colaboró en los arreglos musicales, que dan rienda suelta a los músicos con una introducción instrumental de 45 segundos donde intercalan la trompeta, la flauta dulce, el violín y el oboe.
Esta canción cuenta con los compositores e intérpretes perfectos, afirma Javier Limón: “‘Si estuvieras aquí’ es una de esas canciones que a todos nos hubiera encantado escribir. Una de esas que te tocan el alma, una canción familiar donde Emilio Aragón se ha dejado el corazón para dárselo a su gente. Ahora, en la voz de estos chicos de inmenso talento, presente y futuro de la mejor música del mundo, la obra pasa a ser de todos nuestros pueblos, y la familia somos todos aquellos los que la escuchamos emocionados”.
Los músicos que interpretan “Si Estuvieras Aquí” son tan internacionales como la misma facultad de Berklee, representando diversos países como Argentina, Cuba, Israel, Irak, Venezuela y más.
En 2019, Javier Limón fundó una plataforma llamada Casita Limón en alianza con Sony Music Latin para dar proyección a artistas emergentes. Esta propuesta sigue dando frutos y la más reciente muestra de ello es esta maravillosa canción.

Combining acoustic arrangements with jazz and tropical nuances, this song captivates with its freshness and its lyrics brimming with nostalgia and longing: “Si estuvieras aqui, no te pediria, ni un minuto de tu tiempo para mi. Encontrarte en un abrazo, cuando busco tu perdón, ni que me eches una mano, si me duele el corazón” (If you were here, I wouldn’t ask you for even a minute of your time. Finding you with an embrace, when I seek your forgiveness, nor that you lend me a hand, if my heart hurts.)
Javier Limón, the 10-time GRAMMY® and Latin GRAMMY®-winning producer, and director of Berklee’s Mediterranean Music Institute, collaborated on the musical arrangements, which give plenty of space for the gifted musicians to delight us. The 45-second instrumental intro mixes such sounds as the trumpet, the recorder, the violin and the oboe.
