The song updates the Roy Orbison classic “Pretty Woman” with a Latin twist. Over a smooth reggaeton beat and organic instrumentation punctuated by regional Mexican flair, he delivers an instantly irresistible bilingual anthem with hypnotic allure. In the music video, the budding star courts a pink-haired young lady, and they eventually cruise off together on a futuristic bike.
He actually makes history with “Contigo Mami” as well, becoming “the youngest Mexican to ever share co-writing credits with Roy Orbison.”
