Miami, Florida – La multipremiada cantante y compositora puertorriqueña Kany García lanza su nuevo tema “La Siguiente” a dúo con el cantautor mexicano Christian Nodal. En esta balada escrita por Kany García y Christian Nodal con acordes del género regional mexicano que caracteriza a Nodal, se armonizan perfectamente las voces de los artistas en un tema que abarca la historia de una relación que no funcionó. “Es esa historia que escuchamos muchas veces de amigas que sienten que lo han dado todo en la relación, pero el hombre no, o viceversa, y cuando más feliz está siempre regresa el ex. Por eso ella le dice ya ni te preocupes por mí, que te preocupe la siguiente. Esta canción nació para ser un dueto, porque es una conversación entre la pareja, y siempre tuve claro que esa voz era Christian Nodal que tiene una voz mágica con un sentimiento único. Quería que el sintiera la canción también suya, que tuviese elementos del ADN de él y que pusiera también su propio sello. Trabajar con él ha sido una experiencia maravillosa”, expresa Kany sobre el tema en el que se integraron músicos de Nodal.
Por su parte, Christian Nodal destaca ser un fiel admirador de Kany y de su música por lo que describe esta colaboración como un sueño hecho realidad. “¿Cómo le iba a decir que no? Yo amo su arte y el mensaje que ella lleva al público. Fue muy generosa en dejarme participar a mí y a mis músicos en un tema con el que muchas personas se van a poder identificar en algún momento de sus vidas”, destacó sobre “La Siguiente” que ya está disponible en todas las plataformas digitales.
Para el video musical, filmado en Buenos Aires y dirigido por Diego Peskins, se desarrolla la historia partiendo de la monotonía de una pareja, aspectos que suelen suceder en una relación antes de romperse, y en donde también se integran rasgos de sus personalidades como los tatuajes.
