Miami, Florida – Alejandro Ramírez, Sky Rompiendo, galardonado productor, compositor, Dj y artista nacido en Medellín ha regresado a su tierra natal para participar en el cierre de la Casa Spotify Medallo que se celebró el pasado 3 de noviembre.
Volver a Medellín para hablar sobre “El Futuro de la Música” es realmente maravilloso para el 15 veces nominado a los premios Latin Grammy y 3 a los Billboard Latin. Ese fue el tema del panel realizado en Casa Medallo, en donde Sky rememoró la música que oía antes de dedicarse al género urbano, disertó sobre el papel de otros géneros en el surgimiento del Sonido de Medellín, así como sobre las diferencias entre éste y otros sonidos como el de Puerto Rico y el de Argentina y expresó su opinión sobre cuándo y con quién comenzó este maravilloso sonido que hoy nos representa en el mundo entero.
Para el cierre de este evento realizado por Spotify en la capital antioqueña, el dueño de 13 sencillos número 1 en las listas Billboard formó parte de un concierto al aire libre que se realizó en la Calle del Perpetuo Socorro, al que asistieron casi 2 mil personas para ver el show de Sky, el paisa responsable de algunos de los éxitos de artistas de renombre mundial como J Balvin, Karol G, Anitta, Rosalía, Ozuna, Raw Alejandro y Manuel Turizo, por sólo nombrar algunos.
Siempre será un placer tener de nuevo en casa a uno de los grandes talentos que Medellín, y Colombia, le han dado al mundo.
‘Sky Rompiendo’ goes to Medellín for the successful closing of Casa Spotify Medallo
Miami, Florida – Alejandro Ramírez, also known as Sky Rompiendo, the award-winning producer, composer, DJ and artist born in Medellín, has returned to his homeland to participate in the closing of the Casa Spotify Medallo on November 3.
Coming back to Medellin was really wonderful for the 15-time Latin Grammy nominee and 3-time Billboard Latin nominee, as he spoke about “The Future of Music, which was the theme of the panel held at Casa Medallo. Sky recalled the music he heard before dedicating himself to the urban genre, speaking about the role of other genres in the emergence of the Medellin Sound, as well as the differences between other sounds like Puerto Rico and Argentina. Sky expressed his opinion on when the wonderful sound that now represents us throughout the world began.
For the closing of this event held by Spotify in the capital of Antioquia, Sky, who has thirteen #1 singles on the Billboard charts under his belt, was part of an open-air concert that took place on Calle del Perpetuo Socorro. Over 2,000 people came to see Sky perform in the country responsible for the successes of world-renowned artists such as J Balvin, Karol G, Anitta, Rosalía, Ozuna, Raw Alejandro and Manuel Turizo, just to name a few.
It was a pleasure to have one of the great talents that Medellin, Colombia has given to the world come back home to perform.
