La compañía sigue expandiendo y actualizando su red para proveer conectividad de fibra óptica hasta hogares y negocios.
San Juan, Puerto Rico – Liberty informa a residentes de Guaynabo, Caguas y San Juan sobre las mejoras y expansión de su red fija que ya están ocurriendo en varias zonas de estos municipios. Los trabajos de construcción redundarán en acceso a conectividad a través de fibra óptica para los hogares y comercios de las zonas.
“Continuamos trabajando para brindarle a más consumidores en Puerto Rico servicios de conectividad y entretenimiento con la más avanzada tecnología y velocidades más rápidas”, dijo Naji Khoury, presidente y principal oficial ejecutivo de Liberty. “Estos trabajos incluyen llevar fibra óptica a comunidades donde no había servicio de Liberty anteriormente, así como lugares donde estamos añadiendo el servicio de fibra-hasta-el-hogar”.
Liberty ya comenzó los trabajos en la comunidad San Salvador en Caguas y el Barrio Amelia en Guaynabo este mes. En San Juan, Liberty continúa trabajando en sectores de Condado, Santurce, San Gerardo, Urb. El Paraíso, Río Piedras Heights, Hillside, El Cerezal, Cupey y Cupey Bajo, entre otros. Estos trabajos deberán concluir durante el mes de julio.
Se les recomienda a los residentes de estas comunidades a estacionar sus vehículos en la marquesina o entrada de sus propiedades. Se le solicita no estacionarse en la calle, ni en las aceras para facilitar los trabajos.
Estos sectores se suman a otros que ya cuentan con servicio de fibra óptica de Liberty en municipios como San Juan, Carolina, Toa Baja, Guayama, Dorado, Caguas y Guaynabo, entre otros.

Liberty continues optic fiber construction work in Guaynabo, Caguas and San Juan
The company continues to expand and upgrade its network to take optic fiber connectivity to homes and businesses.
San Juan, Puerto Rico – Liberty is notifying residents of Guaynabo, Caguas and San Juan about the improvements and expansion of its fixed network, which are taking place in several areas within these municipalities. The construction work will provide access to connectivity through optic fiber for homes and businesses in those areas.
“We continue working to provide more consumers in Puerto Rico with connectivity and entertainment services with the most advanced technology and faster speeds,” said Naji Khoury, president and CEO of Liberty. “This work includes taking optic fiber to communities that did not have Liberty’s service before, as well as locations where we are adding Fiber-to-the -Home service.”
Liberty already started working in the San Salvador zone in Caguas and Barrio Amelia in Guaynabo this month. In San Juan, Liberty continues working in sectors of Condado, Santurce, San Gerardo, Urb. El Paraíso, Río Piedras Heights, Hillside, El Cerezal, Cupey and Cupey Bajo, just to name a few. These jobs should be completed in July.
Residents in those areas should park their vehicles in their garages or driveways in their properties. The company is asking them not to park on the street or on the sidewalks to facilitate the work.
These sectors join others that already have Liberty’s optic fiber service in municipalities such as San Juan, Carolina, Toa Baja, Guayama, Dorado, Caguas y Guaynabo, among others.
