The third edition of the pre-Christmas event will be held on Sunday, November 19, at the Trail Theater in Miami, Florida
Miami, Florida — An extraordinary and unusual gathering of young and veteran music and TV talent will take place on November 19 at Miami’s Trail Theater as part of the third edition of the Encendido Navideño concert in Florida, informed Anthony Rodríguez, producer and artist from Fenomenal Entertainment, known by his stage name Tony Toyán.
“Each year, we challenge ourselves to surprise the audience with an unforgettable experience, and this time it will be unique. The first female voice of Puerto Rican folk music, Victoria Sanabria, will be joining us for the first time with her orchestra; as well as the so-called ‘king of Christmas music, José Nogueras, who will debut his new single for the season, ‘Parranda viene, parranda va,’ and singer Karla Marie, who will pay tribute to Myrta Silva and will perform a duet with Tony Toyán,” explained the producer.
He added that young troubadour Esteban Olivera-Sanabria, Victoria’s son, will be performing in Miami for the first time this year.
“Esteban’s first trip outside Puerto Rico with his mom and dad was to Miami for one of his mom’s events, and now that he’s 14 he’s going again, but this time he’ll sing with his mom. We’re super excited,” shared Victoria. She said that their show will be full of joy, improvisation, and classics that are well-known throughout Latin America.
“I assure you that you will enjoy it and you will find familiar songs within our repertoire. One of the musical genres that best represents Puerto Rico is salsa, and we will have salsa. You will leave singing and dancing!” predicted the artist.
For her part, Karla Marie said she’s looking forward to performing in the city that was her home for many years. “I’m all fired up to go to Miami! This wonderful city was my home for a long time. For me to come back after four years to sing, to share the stage with these artists that I admire and that I love so much, and to celebrate with our brothers and sisters in the diaspora is a great honor, a dream come true,” she said.
This year, renowned Puerto Rican TV host and broadcaster Antonio Sánchez, known as “El Gángster,” will join the Encendido Navideño as the event’s host.
“It’s an extraordinary event. Audiences meeting at the Trail Theater on November 19 won’t want to leave the hall,” said Tony Toyán, who will be opening Pedro Capó’s concerts in Miami and Orlando this month.
Tickets for Encendido Navideño 2023 are available on the Teatro Trail website. The show will take place on Sunday, November 19 at 5:00 p.m. This year, the event is sponsored by: Chocolate Cortés, CR Insurance, and restaurants 100×35 Cocina con Raíces and El Bayú de Wela Sara.
