National Women’s Collaborative celebrará la 3ra. edición del evento del 18 al 21 de septiembre con la participación de funcionarios federales y estatales y destacadas empresarias.
San Juan, Puerto Rico – Con el compromiso de romper barreras y fomentar oportunidades de negocio entre empresarias de Puerto Rico y Estados Unidos, la fundación National Women’s Collaborative (NWC) efectuará la tercera edición de ‘We Mean Business Summit’ del 18 al 21 de septiembre en el San Juan Marriott.
La cofundadora de la NWC, Sharon Jackson, expresó que este año esperan la asistencia de 150 mujeres destacadas en diversos renglones económicos tanto en Puerto Rico como en Estados Unidos.
“Queremos que esta poderosa red de mujeres colabore entre ellas, hagan relaciones de negocios, encuentren oportunidades y compartan mejores prácticas. La cumbre es para forjar caminos hacia un futuro más brillante”, indicó la portavoz de NWC.
Dijo que ‘We Mean Business Summit’ contará con ponentes de renombre que incluyen a la asesora del Departamento de Energía para asuntos de Puerto Rico, Marisol Bonnet; la exsubsecretaria de Comercio de Estados Unidos, Jessica Cavazos; el exadministrador asociado de Small Business Administration (SBA), Mark Madrid; la secretaria del Departamento de Transportación y Obras Públicas, Eileen Vélez Vega; y la gerente general de ManpowerGroup Puerto Rico, Melissa Rivera Roena.
La cumbre explorará una amplia gama de temas relevantes para mujeres profesionales de varios sectores, incluyendo energía, liderazgo, cannabis, inteligencia artificial y comunicación.
Jackson resaltó que el evento impulsa la colaboración entre las empresarias locales puertorriqueñas y las líderes de Estados Unidos para lograr cambios positivos.
“Creemos que ‘We Mean Business’ es más que una cumbre; es un movimiento. En la NWC contamos con más de 2,700 mujeres y nos dedicamos a cambiar la narrativa y promover la igualdad de género en todo el mundo. Este evento es un testimonio del compromiso inquebrantable de la organización con el empoderamiento de las mujeres y la construcción de un mundo más fuerte e inclusivo”, sostuvo la cofundadora.

San Juan, Puerto Rico – With a commitment to breaking barriers and fostering business opportunities among women entrepreneurs in Puerto Rico and the United States, the National Women’s Collaborative (NWC) will hold the third edition of the ‘We Mean Business Summit’ from September 18 to 21 at the San Juan Marriott.
Sharon Jackson, co-founder of NWC, expressed that this year they expect the attendance of 150 distinguished women from various economic sectors in both Puerto Rico and the United States.
“We want this powerful network of women to collaborate with each other, build business relationships, find opportunities, and share best practices. The summit is meant to pave the way toward a brighter future,” said the NWC spokesperson.
She added that the ‘We Mean Business Summit’ will feature renowned speakers, including Marisol Bonnet, the Department of Energy Advisor for Puerto Rico Affairs; Jessica Cavazos, former U.S. Under Secretary of Commerce; Mark Madrid, former Associate Administrator of the Small Business Administration (SBA); Eileen Vélez Vega, Secretary of the Department of Transportation and Public Works; and Melissa Rivera Roena, General Manager of ManpowerGroup Puerto Rico.
The summit will explore a wide range of topics relevant to professional women from various sectors, including energy, leadership, cannabis, artificial intelligence, and communication.
Jackson emphasized that the event promotes collaboration between local Puerto Rican businesswomen and U.S. leaders to drive positive change.
“We believe that ‘We Mean Business’ is more than just a summit; it’s a movement. At NWC, we have more than 2,700 women, and we are dedicated to changing the narrative and promoting gender equality worldwide.
