El talento del multifacético y genial cantante, compositor y músico colombiano Edier Gómez Fernandez, en arte EMISHA, emerge en cada una de sus canciones, así como su pasión desenfrenada por la música.
No es una excepción su sencillo debut “AMANTES”, que combina un reggaetón minimal con sonidos típicamente pop, que resaltan su voz y su particular estilo de canto.
“Amantes es una canción que simplemente refleja la otra cara del Amor, esa parte egoísta, muchas veces ingenua, queriendo a todo costo un final feliz, aún en una relación a 3. ¡Sabemos que corremos el riesgo de causarnos daño, pero es más fuerte que nosotros! Porque el Amor no conoce, ¡fecha, hora, sexo, situación sentimental ni religión!

Para el video de “AMANTES”, EMISHA se inspiró en la pintura “Les amants” por René Magritte. Con esta obra, el pintador surrealista expresa “la imposibilidad del amor”: un sentimiento muy fuerte, una especie de conflicto entre visible oculto y visible aparente. Tal cual las relaciones entre amantes.
“AMANTES” saldrá el 19 de febrero con URBANA LATIN, una división de Urbana Label, distribuido por Sony Music Entertainment Italy.
Hijo de arte, EMISHA (Edier Gómez Fernandez, nacido en Cali, Colombia, el 6 de agosto 1985) crece respirando música desde pequeño gracias a su abuelo y a su padre: a temprana edad ingresa al conservatorio, donde cultiva aún más su pasión por diversos tipos de instrumentos musicales, especialmente la batería.
Su seudónimo particular nace de la combinación entre “E”, como “Edier” su primer nombre, y, “Misha” su amigo imaginario de la infancia.
Les fases de su vida se caracterizan por géneros musicales diferentes, que le han permitido enriquecer aún mas su camino artístico, primero como músico y después como cantante. EMISHA mismo subraya las varias influencias musicales que lo han formado: del jazz a la música clásica; del Reggae, Dancehall, Salsa al Pop, ¡hasta la música Grunge!
Compositor ya en la adolescencia, EMISHA llega a Europa donde, con trabajo duro y sacrificio, empieza a seguir varios proyectos musicales.
Músico de talento, reconocido en la escena musical italiana, EMISHA cuenta con importantes colaboraciones con artistas de renombre internacional, incluido Mario Biondi, con el qué cooperó como baterista. Además, fue fundamental el encuentro con Roberta Granà, vocal coach y corista de muchos grandes artistas de la música italiana, que le permitió participar en giras por varios países y hacerse conocer aún más a nivel internacional.
El punto crucial de su carrera llega en Suiza, ciando se une a la urban band “J Nueve” como frontman y se destaca por su voz cautivadora y atractiva. Llegan también los primeros reconocimientos, en particular los Latin Music Awards en 2017, en Italia, como “Mejor Artista Latin Pop”, que le permitirán ir de giras en Europa y America Latina, abriendo los shows de Gente de Zona, Karol G, Piso 21, Sebastian Yatra y más.
En 2020 EMISHA decide continuar su camino musical como solista. Es notado por Urbana Label, realidad establecida en la escena urban y latin, con la que firma un contrato discográfico.
El 19 de febrero sale “AMANTES”, su primer sencillo, con URBANA LATIN, una división de Urbana Label, distribuido por Sony Music Entertainment Italy.

The talent of versatile and gifted singer, songwriter and musician from Colombia Edier Gómez Fernandez, aka EMISHA, arises in each one of his songs, together with his unbridled passion for music.
His debut single “AMANTES” is no exception: it combines a minimal reggaeton with typical pop sounds which enhance his voice and distinctive singing style.
“Amantes tells of the other side of love, the most selfish part, sometimes naïve, which wants the happy end at all costs, even in a threesome. We know we run the risk to hurt ourselves, but it is stronger than us: real love knows no date, hour, sex, status or religion! We were “Amantes”, we will be or might be in the future”, EMISHA explains.
For the official video of “AMANTES” EMISHA took inspiration by the painting “Les amants” by René Magritte. Son of an artist, EMISHA (Edier Gómez Fernandez, born in Cali, Colombia on 6th August 1985) grows up breathing music since he was a kid thanks to his dad and grandad: he enters the conservatory at a young age and further cultivates his passion for all kind of music instruments, drums in particular.
His peculiar nickname is the result of the combination of “E”, like his first name “Edier”, and “Misha”, the name of his childhood imaginary friend.
Each stage of his life is marked by a music genre that further enriched his career, first as musician and then as singer. EMISHA himself stresses the several music influences that formed him: from jazz to classic music; from Reggae, Dancehall, Salsa to Pop and even Grunge music!
Composer already in his teens, he moves to Europe where, through hard work and sacrifice, gets involved in various music projects.
Gifted musician, already well-recognized in the Italian scene, EMISHA boasts important collaborations with internationally renowned artists including Mario Biondi, with whom he worked as a drummer. Key for his career is also the collaboration with Roberta Granà, vocal coach and chorister for many Italian “big” acts, which allows him take part to tours across various countries and gain further popularity internationally.
The turning point of his career arrives in Switzerland, when he joins the urban band “J Nueve” as frontman and stands up for his catchy and engaging voice. First prizes follow quickly, in particular as “Best Latin Pop Act” at the Latin Music Awards in 2017, in Italy, that will allow the band to tour across Europe and Latin America, opening shows for Gente de Zona, Karol G, Piso 21, Sebastian Yatra, just to name a few.
In 2020 EMISHA decides to continue his musical path as a soloist. He ends up in the radar of Urbana Label, well-established reality in urban and Latin scene, which he signs a record deal with.
