Miami, Florida – El artista puertorriqueño POLOO lanzó “PAIN KILLER”, el tercer sencillo de su carrera profesional, inspirado en una experiencia personal de desamor y el “remedio” boricua que le dio fuerzas para superar el mal rato.
El tema es una fusión de afro beat con melodías caribeñas, que acompaña una historia de pareja, que cierra con un ritmo más up-tempo con influencias de house music.“Es baile, gozadera y cariño a mis nenas boricuas”, dijo el artista.
“Al componer este tema ya venía con la idea de algo que me sucedió hace años atrás y fue algo bien brutal porque lo pude revivir en esta canción”, agregó POLOO.
El video, también inspirado en su experiencia, es un paseo por Puerto Rico, donde se menciona el restaurante “Mamacita”, en la playa de Culebra, donde sirven el famoso trago “pain killer”, donde nació el título del tema compuesto por Alfredo Jose Rojas Rivera (el nombre de pila de POLOO) Yofred y Carlos Santander.
El video “PAIN KILLER” fue dirigido por José Luis Colón Ibarra, también incluye increíbles tomas aéreas de Puerto Rico y vistas espectaculares de la isla de Vieques.
“En el video como van a ver hice de todo, me tiré al agua, me revolqué por la arena y al otro día amanecí enfermo pero valió la pena porque todo salió de maravilla gracias a DIOS!” recuerda POLOO, quien además destacó que hay escenas filmadas en los Tubos de Manatí, un lugar adorado por turistas y locales en Puerto Rico.
“PAIN KILLER” es la continuación perfecta tras “MADRUGADA” y “Otros XOXO”. Este artista puertorriqueño forma parte de la disquera Aura Music de Ozuna.

POLOO Presents A Boricua Remedy Against Broken Hearts With “PAIN KILLER”
Miami, Florida – Puerto Rican artist POLOO released “PAIN KILLER“, the third single of his professional career, inspired by a personal heartbreak experience and the Puerto Rican “remedy” that gave him the strength to overcome the bad time.
The song is a fusion of afro beat with Caribbean melodies, which accompanies a couple’s story, which closes with a more up-tempo rhythm with house music influences. “It’s dance, gozadera and love for my Puerto Rican girls,” said the artist.
“When composing this song I already had the idea of something that happened to me years ago and it was something very brutal because I was able to relive it in this song,” added POLOO.
The video, also inspired by his experience, is a walk through Puerto Rico, where he mentions the restaurant “Mamacita”, on the beach of Culebra, where they serve the famous drink “pain killer”, where the title of the song composed by Alfredo Jose Rojas Rivera (POLOO’s name), Yofred and Carlos Santander was born.
The video “PAIN KILLER” was directed by Jose Luis Colon Ibarra, it also includes incredible aerial shots of Puerto Rico and spectacular views of the island of Vieques.
“In the video as you are going to see I did everything, I jumped into the water, I rolled in the sand and the next day I woke up sick but it was worth it because everything turned out great thanks to GOD!” recalls POLOO, who also highlighted that there are scenes filmed in the Tubos de Manatí, a place adored by tourists and locals in Puerto Rico.
“PAIN KILLER” is the perfect continuation after “MADRUGADA” and “Otros XOXO“. This Puerto Rican artist is part of Ozuna’s label Aura Music.
