Miami, Florida – La cantautora puertorriqueña GALE, tres veces nominada al Latin GRAMMY®, se une a la artista indie-pop mexicana Bruses en “Movie”, una divertida colaboración que rinde homenaje a lo mejor del pop-punk liderado por mujeres. ¡La canción irradia la energía de un personaje principal en una canción escrita sobre una relación que te hace sentir menos de lo que eres – escúchala AQUÍ!
Este tema lleva a GALE de regreso a sus primeros años escuchando a Simple Plan, Paramore y Avril Lavigne, por nombrar algunos. “Es adelante, emocionante, alegre y con un hermoso mensaje que te hace entender que eres la protagonista de esta película llamada vida. “Movie” es el primer lanzamiento de GALE desde que obtuvo la nominación al Latin GRAMMY® en la categoría “Mejor Artista Nuevo” de este año, celebrando su álbum debut, Lo Que No Te Dije – ¡escúchalo AQUÍ! Como compositora, GALE también obtuvo una nominación por “El Merengue” (Marshmello, Manuel Turizo) en la categoría de “Mejor Canción Tropical”. Las nominaciones de este año elevan a GALE a un total de 3 nominaciones en su carrera: 2 como compositora y 1 como artista en solitario.

Miami, Florida – 3x Latin GRAMMY-nominated Puerto-Rican singer-songwriter GALE (@GALE) enlists Mexican indie-pop artist Bruses for “Movie,” a fun collaboration that pays homage to the best of female-fronted pop-punk. The track exudes main-character energy in a song written about a relationship that makes you feel less than – listen here! Announced earlier this week, GALE is also a confirmed performer at the Latin GRAMMYs which will take place November 16th in Seville, Spain.
It brings GALE back to her early years listening to Simple Plan, Paramore and Avril Lavigne, to name a few. “It’s forward, exciting, upbeat and with a beautiful message of understanding you’re the lead of this movie called life. Nobody should dim your light, or treat you like less. Let’s remember our bad choices from our 20s and have fun while at it!” It’s “fun and not too serious,” intended by GALE and collaborators to “play a lot with the lyrics and production.”

“Movie” is GALE’s first offering since she scored the Latin GRAMMY “Best New Artist” nomination this year, celebrating her debut album, “Lo Que No Te Dije” – listen here!
